Hi to anyone out there who is still listening!! It’s been so long since I last communicated. Work and work and work seem to be getting in the way, SO…I quit!
My last day of work will be June 30th or July 1st (I’m not sure).
What will I be doing instead? Well, you can bet I’ll be spending a lot more time blogging!
Also, I'll be selling dog collars, finishing my denim quilt pattern and following my passions in general. I have SO many ideas spinning around in my head. My most difficult problem will be focusing on one thing at a time!
I’ve got a LOT of posts to catch up on. I’m sitting here trying to get all of the pictures downloaded from my camera.
One of the things I’ve done in the past few months is attend the AQS quilt show in Cincinnati in April. What a fun time!!! One of the things I bought was a binding tool. I’m always looking for a new and improved way to bind my quilts. The easier the better.
The cool thing about this tool is that is can also be used as a template to make “Friendship Braid” quilts. I found this fun tutorial which demonstrates how to use it! Thanks to Missouri Star Quilt Company, they make great video tutorials!!

On a personal note, although we lost our dog, Pearl, a few months ago, I’m happy to say that a new JRT has joined our family. Her name is Luna. She is 5 years old and came from a home that used her exclusively for breeding.
No more breeding for Luna. Just lounging around and lots of love!!
I’m off to finish downloading the photos from my camera so I can share more of the things I’ve been doing the past few months!!
Heather
