I have the denim circle quilt cut out and ready to put together. Would you suggest fraying as each section is sewn or to wait until the rows are all completely sewn together?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2131060850858648727.post-57560840968267043052014-01-27T20:16:27.696-08:002014-01-27T20:16:27.696-08:00Wonder how I can get a reply from you???? I've started my Cathedral window purse, not sure about the size and how many circles should be included for each side -- or should I make the entire thing a flat piece of fabric and do the edge stitching on the cathedral leaf like portions. Wondering if you have an actual pattern for the purse and the cost - I don't know how to use pinterest....(my bad). How many circles do you think we might need for an average size. I am trying to make mine like yours with the lace -- not sure it's working out that gives me lace on one side and the levi on the other side. Wondering if I should zig zag the edtes instead of straight stitching since I surged my edges tog to make the lace and levi one piece of fabric. Can you please try to contact me back at Angelkruiser1@yahoo.com or can I get your phone number pleaseLindyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01674175342774545003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2131060850858648727.post-25572933593529663472013-07-20T10:51:36.398-07:002013-07-20T10:51:36.398-07:00The circles are 6 1/2" in diameter. :)The circles are 6 1/2" in diameter. :)Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17446316961572257494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2131060850858648727.post-6870600735938791152013-07-18T12:52:13.237-07:002013-07-18T12:52:13.237-07:00How big did you make your circles? How big did you make your circles?Kristenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15731160598309882083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2131060850858648727.post-43308657569664916002013-01-06T11:49:05.805-08:002013-01-06T11:49:05.805-08:00It is very similar to a circle quilt but you need ...It is very similar to a circle quilt but you need it to fray. Very cool...you could use the circle patterns circles and squares however to cut everything. In that pattern you use the squares to draw your lines on where to sew on the circles. The best part of a circle quilt or this one is no quilting. When you finish putting the top together it's done. Great job and gives me a new quilt to work on in the future!
Love your color choices.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2131060850858648727.post-26094515302142378052012-11-11T10:06:48.733-08:002012-11-11T10:06:48.733-08:00wonderful! Last night I finished sewing and snipping, then I washed it. Today I took it out of the dryer...and I am going to be floating on my cloud of accomplishment for some time to come!! I need to make a quilt for a birthday in the fall, and had been thinking of a raggedy edge with denim one side and a print on the front, but never considered the circles.
What a creative mind you have!Stacihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11183068716476005136noreply@blogger.com
